U P FOR SALE IS VERBENA BONARIENSIS 240 SEEDS This tough, drought tolerant, beautiful, deep-purple flower is easy to grow anywhere in full sun, in the wild garden as well as in the flower beds or large mixed pots as a center-peace. masses of sprays of deep-purple flowers adorn the tops of the sparsely foliaged 4-5' stems, from summer through fall. they are hardy in zones 7-10, if the base of the plant is mulched or dug and stored over winter, they can tolerate colder conditions. they reseed easily so if they die over a cold winter they will return as seedlings. this verbena will bloom in the first summer from seeds. the flowers are not only attractive to gardeners, they are very attractive to butterflies and provide nectar for bees and many beneficial insects. perennial hardy Zone: 7-10. lower if mulched over winter. Light: full sun Water: regular-low, never in moist soil. Soil: rich, well-draining soil. the richer the soil the bigger the plant will be. Height: 4-5' tall and 3' wide.
