Up for sale is tall Meadow rue, purple meadowrue, Thalictrum dasycarpum. 50 seeds. this graceful beauty is maybe the most graceful plant that you will encounter. tall meadowrue politely displays its many, delicate, white and yellow, tassel-like flowers in spring and early summer. the stems are a distinct purple thus one of its names is purple meadowrue. they are strong enough to hold up in high winds. they are mostly diecious, with male and female flowers on separate plants, with slightly different features. the male plants tend to be showier than the females. Meadow rue is deer and rabbit resistant and a quite an easy to grow, tuff plant once it gets going. they will bloom in their second year from seeds. these seeds need a cold treatment before planting. plant outdoors in fall or winter or put the seeds in the fridge for 8 weeks before planting. p erennial Zone: 3-8 Sun: part shade to low sun. Water: regular to moist. Soil: humus rich, loamy, well-draining soil. Height: 5'-6' tall. Bloom time: spring to early summer. difficultly: easy I send planting directions with all seeds.
