U P for sale is large dahlia seeds, 75 seeds. not bulbs. this is a mix of large plants with full double flowers. they are all cross pollinated so the seedlings will be a mix of varieties. mine always end up something fantastic. dahlias are very easy to grow from seeds. they will bloom in their first year from seed if started early. plant the seeds indoors 6 weeks before last frost date. the seeds do very poorly when planted directly outdoors. dahlia seedlings start growing a bulb as soon as they get a few leaves and by fall they will have a large enough bulb to store out of the cold winter months and plant out next year. perennial Zone: 9+ in cooler climates dig and store tubers. Light : sun. Water: regular Soil: rich, well-draining soil. Height: 3"-6" tall. Bloom time: mid-summer to first frost in fall. I send planting directions with all seeds.
