Here for sale is a very nice made in Italy Grassi Ida Maria alto saxophone. It is the hard to find and desirable professional quality "Wonderful" model that was only made for a short period in the late 1970's- early 80's. Please look at the pictures for the best idea of the horns physical/cosmetic condition. Please click on the "See more description" below for more info and pictures. This sax has not been refinished or buffed. All keys and linkages work flawlessly. The pads, corks (except the mouthpiece mating cork), and felts are probably original and look to be in good condition. It is the hard to find and desirable professional quality "Wonderful" model that was only made for a short period in the late 1970's to early 80's. A few things to note on this horn: It is in good condition overall. Cosmetically it has light scratches on the lacquer finish and finish wear on bottom bow and a few of the key touch points. There is a very shallow (and I mean very shallow) dent about the diameter of a dime on the left hand side of the bow. The lyre holder has been resoldered as well. I couldn't see that it ever had any other repairs done, or that it needs any now. Seems to have been taken care of during its life.
