Description
I own an instrument repair shop and have had this in my shop for a while. I finally got the time to look it over and repair it to good condition. I added a few new Pads and corks that needed to be replaced. There is some solder joint work on the upper neck receiver tenan. The neck is not original, but I bought a new aftermarket neck that fits and plays well. This saxophone has seen its time in a school band but the scratches and lacquer wear does not affect the playability of this instrument. This would make a great intermediate tenor saxophone for a student or an adult That is just wanting to play for fun. It has the basic sound with a lot of power on the bottom end. I have played it numerous times to make sure that the instrument plays well as it should. It comes with the original case. There are no accessories included. These saxophones are made very well in the USA and have a reputation of a nice warm sound. On Dec-10-24 at 15:22:51 PST, seller added the following information: The original listing said Conn USA . I found out that is not the USA model but the Shooting Star model. Its really the same instrument, just made in The Conn Factory in Nogales Mexico
