Description

Back in stock! One of my best sellers every year. This is fresh Alaska Summer harvested. Will hold up to any Northern climate where you want to improve your soil. It prefers cool areas with good water but can adapt to most any area if it gets enough irrigation. Comfrey is a miracle addition to any garden. It pulls nitrogen down from the air and minerals up from the soil. Comfrey can be grown as a cover crop to enrich poor soil and to block weeds. Uses include animal feed, companion plant, bee attractant, and fertilizer. Comfrey will grow with minimal inputs in any state in the US. In general it does the best in Northern climates. It does worse the further South you go. It requires no fertilizer or pesticide. All my plants are organically grown in Alaska. This seed is fertile and not sterile like some varieties such as the Boking 14. This offering is for 40 seeds. Seeds requires fall/winter planting to germinate.
