Selmer Paris Super Balanced Action Alto Saxophone SN 52290 ORIGINAL LACQUER PRODUCT DESCRIPTION This is a very nice 1953 vintage Selmer Super Balanced Alto Saxophone in good used condition. The Super Balanced is the rarest of Selmers, with only some 18000 altos, tenors, and baritones inclusively being made. Some say the Super Balanced is the finest saxophone Selmer has ever produced, surpassing even the legendary Mark VI. If you're one of those people, you cannot miss this one! Original lacquer on this beauty is 80% present. Pads and action are excellent and the action is very light and fast, and the pads are all very good. This instrument has just been cleaned, oiled, and adjusted in our ship and is ready to play. There are SO FEW of these instruments in this condition remaining-grab this one.
