This is a great modern alto saxophone made by Selmer Paris, the second generation of their Axos model. This currently serves as the base-line professional model (often called "entry level" professional) of their line, comparable to the Yamaha YAS 62, Yanagisawa AW01, etc. This particular instrument is in great condition. It has been well cared for since its purchase in December of 2022. It was purchased brand new and has had no history of damage or wear. It is coming off of a fresh set-up from my preferred tech who lightened the action and seated pads/switched adjustments as necessary. The keywork has a smoother, lighter touch than how Selmers typically come from the factory. There are a few non-original upgrades to this horn--namely, included in addition to the original neck (great condition, no damage) is a Silver plated Selmer Supreme neck. This neck is from their top-of-the-line model and greatly improves response and complexity of tone. The original neck is in perfect condition and plays just fine, I just prefer to use the Supreme neck when I play this horn! Also added are palm key risers made of Sugru, which you or your tech may remove if you choose. The case it comes with is a wonderful case by Bam called the Conservatoire model--it holds the instrument well, has a decent amount of storage, and is reasonably light. I would strongly recommend this instrument to anyone looking for a modern Selmer that doesn't want to spend the prices that the more expensive models are fetching these days. To me, this horn plays almost identically to a Series II, and with the Supreme neck it plays like a cross between a Series II and a Mark VI. TLDR, it's a wonderful instrument built by Selmer in the Paris factory, and it SOUNDS like a Selmer for about half the cost of the Signature Model, or a third of the cost of the Supreme REASONABLE OFFERS CONSIDERED!
