Mauriat 285 ‘Grand Dreams’ Tenor saxophones are entry level professional instruments that look, play, feel and sound like full priced professional artist-level saxophones. They respond instantly with a free blowing feel yet have a warm enough sound to fit in any ensemble. With an all-yellow brass body and neck, fully ribbed construction, Pisoni pads with metal resonators, black pearl key touches and traditional French bore design, the Grand Dreams saxophones allow the player to grow musically—within their budget. This particular instrument is in excellent condition. Other than some very small lacquer imperfections, I see no signs of use.
