Nice shape for the age - there are no dings or dents that I can find. It does have brassing and wear to the finish. The pads seem ok to me, but may need replacing. The springs are good. The serial number should code to 1942 - this one appears to be the very last one produced that year. The handle could use replacing, but the rest of the case is in pretty nice shape.
