Up for sale is English lavender, Lavandula agustifolia, 100 seeds. wonderfully fragrant, this popular lavender will bloom throughout the summer if deadheaded. the scent of this violet-blue flower permeates the air during the warm weather months, when dried, the flowers are widely used in potpourris and arrangements. very easy to grow and Maintenace free. lavender needs dry conditions that mimic the Mediterranean to the south of France. if you live in a moist-humid place like Florida, they definitely will not grow. they prefer a hot, dry, rocky almost desert like environment. that said, they do great here in Seattle as long as they get very good drainage. lavender is great for cut flowers-dried flowers, they are bee and butterfly friendly and wonderfully fragrant'. they are great for mass plantings, extended bloom time, (more than four weeks) multiplies/naturalizes, evergreen, low Maintenace, pretty foliage, deer and rabbit resistant and a great mosquito repellant. a must have. perennial, evergreen.
