Some common names are Hindu Datura, Indian Thornapple, or Devil's Trumpet. A short-lived plant growing to 6 feet tall and 4 feet wide. The flowers are scented growing around 6 inches in length. The center is white while the outside a bright purple and doubled. The leaves have spines up the middle as many species do in the Solanaceae family.
