Description

BORG Alto Sax with Rico B5 Mouthpiece & Very Nice Hardshell Case. Sax Serial #20249104. My Grandfather was a Big Band leader in the 1930's. When he gave me his Selmer BA alto sax, he told me: "John, don't play for a living, just have fun with it." - and I do. This alto plays great with a lively tone on the included Rico B5 mouthpiece. It's been assimilated, cleaned, and *adjusted at the Cube by Locutus's Hive (He kept telling me: "Make it so number one"). Pads, corking, and felts have been replaced where needed and the springs show quick response. Cosmetically, there are no dents, one tiny ding on the neck, very little finish wear (bell and keys), and minor scuffing (see pictures and video). The hardshell case is clean and sturdy with all hardware functioning properly. Included with the case are a new microfiber polishing cloth, a neckstrap, 2 extra cane reeds, a black plastic end plug, and the Rico B5 mouthpiece w/new gold ligature, cap, and new Rico plasticover reed.
