Description
Dahlias are tender perennials, and are winter hardy only in zones 9 and up. If you are in hardiness zone 4-8, you will need to dig up your dahlia tubers and store them inside for the winter. Please be aware that dahlias grown from seed may not produce the same characteristics as the parent plant. The seedlings can produce flowers that are a different size, shape, color and/or type than the parent. Planting dahlia seeds is exciting - you never know what you're going to get! Who knows, you may grow the next award-winning dahlia! If you would like specific traits in your dahlias, you should grow them from tubers or cuttings, as those are the only ways to get a plant identical to the parent. If you like the idea of several different mystery flowers, seeds are the way to go! Please also note that it is normal for only 50%-75% of dahlia seeds to germinate. Please be patient as some varieties will sprout quickly, and others can take several weeks. You will receive 30 freshly harvested dahlia seeds, from a mixture of my 75+ different varieties, including dinnerplates, pompoms, cactus, balls, decorative, collarette, and more! PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS WILL ACCOMPANY YOUR SEEDS! FREE SHIPPING via USPS First Class Mail within one business day of payment received. ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE JUST ASK!
