This 1950 Selmer Super Balanced Action SBA Alto Sax is at the top-of-the-line, and is in absolute beautiful condition. Its lovely golden lacquered finish is all original and has been kept in pristine condition. The set includes the case, which is also in pristine condition, and is just as beautiful as the horn. The SBA is superior to many saxophones in the world, including the Legendary Mark VI , and that in many ways. One of the strongest points is the sweetness of the full bodied rich "Selmer Sound". As you examine the key touches, you will find that this horn has seen very little use over the past 74 years. That's the way I collect them. This saxophone is the match to the tenor that I also have listed. Please check out my 2 best horns. The cases are equally beautiful and are in absolute mint condition. One of them will sell and the other one may stay with me. I listed both to raise money. You would have to search the world over to find another in this beautiful condition. I have been collecting since 1980, and these two horns are by far the best American ingraved and assembled Selmer Paris saxophones that I have ever possessed. You understand.
